Agarwood
In Chinese medicine, Agarwood is used to treat the digestive system, relieve spasms, regulate the vital organs, relieve pain, treat halitosis and support the kidney. It is used to ease tightness in the chest, reduce abdominal pain, stop vomiting, treat diarrhoea and relieve asthma. All parts of the Agar tree can be used and are beneficial especially in the field of medicine, Agarwood has anti-cancer properties and anti-depressant properties in its extract.
Spiritually Agarwood is highly psychoactive and offers intention to spiritual journeys, enlightenment, clarity and grounding. Buddhists use it for the transmutation of ignorance. Tibetan monks use it to bring energy to the centre and calm the mind and spirit.
